A native of Houston, Texas, Tim moved to Baton Rouge in 1988 to attend Louisiana State University. After graduating, he spent time deepening his walk with the Lord at Torchbearers Bible School in Estes Park, Colorado—a season that helped shape his passion for sharing God’s grace and truth.
Tim joined the Grace Life staff in September of 1998, first serving as youth pastor, then associate pastor, and now as lead pastor. Over the years, Tim has walked with people through all stages of life and faith, always pointing them to the sufficiency of Jesus and the security they have in Him. His greatest joy is helping others discover the freedom, identity, and rest that come from living in the finished work of Christ. Tim is known for his clear and practical teaching, his sense of humor, and his deep desire to see believers understand who they are in Christ and live from that truth.
He and his wife, Kathryn, have three wonderful children—Caroline, Andrew, and Olivia—as well as a son-in-law, Grayden. Whether he’s preaching, mentoring, or simply sharing life with others, Tim’s heart is to walk alongside people as they grow in grace and experience the fullness of life in Jesus.
